Palmers Meadow

Situated behind the Swimming Pool, Palmers Meadow is the main sports recreation area in the town with Football and Rugby pitches and a Skate Park.

All of these areas are maintained by the Town Council Groundsman who can be contacted on 07985 285171

During the playing season Palmers Meadow is the home venue and training pitch for Tenbury United FC and Tenbury R.F.C.

Skate Park

The skate park is situated on Palmers Meadow just past the main football pitch.

In 2009 young people helped to redesign the site to include more features. It is well used throughout the year. The site is maintained by the Town Council Groundsman Tel 07985 285171.

Sports Pitches

The pitches are laid out at Palmers Meadow and are available for hire. Details are available from the Town Clerk.

Football Pitch

During the playing season Palmers Meadow is the home venue and training pitch for Tenbury United Football Club and Tenbury United Youth Football Club.

Rugby Pitch

There are also two Rugby Pitches on Palmers Meadow, which is the home venue for Tenbury RFC.

Car Park

A large car park is available free of charge in Tenbury Wells.

The entrance is from either Kyrewood Road or via the District Council car park, off Teme Street.

Part of the Palmers Meadow field was turned into a car park in the late 1960’s. It is managed by the Town Council and offers free parking for residents and visitors to the town.
